Service Overview
Express Locksmith Services provides professional mobile locksmith services including automotive lockout assistance, car key replacement and programming, residential lock and key services, commercial security solutions, and emergency locksmith response. All services are performed by certified, licensed, and insured locksmith technicians or vetted contractor partners.
Service Requests and Contract Formation
A service request submitted through our website or made by phone is not a binding contract until a technician or contractor has been dispatched and confirmed. Submitting a request indicates your interest in receiving locksmith services but does not obligate either party until dispatch is confirmed.
All service details, including the scope of work, are discussed and confirmed between you and the technician before any work begins. Your verbal or written authorization to proceed constitutes agreement to the terms of that specific service.
Verification and Right to Refuse Service
For security purposes, contractors and technicians may require proof of ownership, residency, or authorization before performing certain services. This includes but is not limited to:
- Vehicle lockout services (vehicle registration, ID matching the registration, or other proof of ownership)
- Residential lock changes and rekeying (proof of residency or ownership)
- Key replacement services (proof of vehicle or property ownership)
- Commercial lock services (authorization from the property owner or business manager)
We reserve the right to refuse service if adequate verification cannot be provided. This policy exists to protect property owners and prevent unauthorized access.
Pricing and Payment
Service call charges may vary based on time of day, location, and demand. Pricing is always confirmed before work begins. You will receive a clear explanation of what the service involves and the associated charges before authorizing the technician to proceed.
Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as cash. Technicians carry mobile card readers for on-site payment. By authorizing service, you agree to pay the amount confirmed before work started.
If payment is not received at the time of service, we reserve the right to pursue collection of the outstanding balance, including reasonable collection charges and associated fees.
Warranty
All services are covered by a warranty of up to 30 days from the date the service was performed. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials provided by Express Locksmith Services.
If you experience a problem directly related to our work within the warranty period, contact us at {phone}. A technician will be dispatched to evaluate and resolve the issue at no additional charge.
Warranty claims must be reported promptly within the 30-day warranty period.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty becomes void if any unauthorized person has touched, tampered with, adjusted, repaired, or modified the lock, key, or product related to the service we performed. Additional exclusions include:
- Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or abuse of locks, keys, or hardware after our service
- Normal wear and tear
- Pre-existing damage or defects in locks, doors, or hardware that were not part of the original service
- Damage caused by break-ins, vandalism, or criminal activity after our service
- Smart lock or electronic lock malfunctions caused by firmware updates, power failures, or connectivity issues outside our control
- Issues arising from work performed by a third party after our service
Pre-Existing Damage
Express Locksmith Services is not responsible for pre-existing damage discovered during or after service. If a technician identifies pre-existing issues with your locks, doors, or hardware, they will document and communicate those findings before proceeding with the requested work.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a service request at any time before work begins. Cancellations made after a contractor or technician has been dispatched may be subject to a service call charge to cover travel and diagnostic time.
We reserve the right to charge for any work already performed or materials already procured at the time of cancellation. If you cancel before the technician arrives and no work has been started, no charges apply beyond the potential dispatch charge.
Refund Policy
If you are not satisfied with the service provided, contact us at {phone} within 30 days of the service date. We will review the situation and work to resolve it, which may include re-performing the service, sending a different technician, or issuing a partial or full refund at our discretion.
Refund decisions are made on a case-by-case basis after reviewing the details and circumstances of the service.
Third-Party Contractors
Express Locksmith Services may use vetted third-party contractors or partner technicians to fulfill service requests in certain areas. All contractors and partners are required to meet our standards for licensing, insurance, professional conduct, and customer service.
By requesting service, you acknowledge and agree that a vetted contractor or partner technician may be dispatched to handle your service request. These contractors operate under the same warranty and service standards described in these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
Express Locksmith Services, its technicians, contractors, and partners shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of our services. This includes but is not limited to property damage beyond the scope of the service, loss of use, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.
Total liability for any claim arising from a specific service shall not exceed the amount paid for that service.
Certain locksmith procedures carry inherent risks to locks, doors, vehicles, or related hardware. Technicians will communicate any known risks before proceeding. Your authorization to continue constitutes acceptance of those risks.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Express Locksmith Services website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Express Locksmith Services or its content providers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on our website without written permission.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Express Locksmith Services, its officers, technicians, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
